George Bashkingy Obituary
84, of Phoenix entered eternal life on July 3, 2012. Born October 31, 1927 in Paterson, NJ to Naim (Norman) and Yemile (Jennie) Bashkingy and moved to Phoenix in 1948. Married to Dorothy Marie Drabek of Youngstown, OH in 1957 at St. Mary's Church in Phoenix raising 4 children. Preceded in death by siblings Margie Roose, Emily Cusimano and Louis Bashkingy. Survived by his loving wife Dorothy, sons George (Teri), Norman (Alicia) and Raymond (Andrea) and daughter Mary Weissman, 10 grandchildren and soon to be 3 great grandchildren; sisters Mary Kostisak, Lilly Miley, Lorriane Smith, Jeanie Romaniuk and Beatie Noli. Visitation is 6 - 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm on Thursday, July 5 at Whitney and Murphy Funeral Home 4800 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix 602-840-5600. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am on Friday July 6th, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd., Phoenix.

George and the Baskingy family,
I received an email from my brother Bryan Buenger informing me of your father's passing. May family and friends' be a comfort to you at this time! I will keep him and your family in my prayers' each week at Mass. If I would have had your and your Mother's address I could send my condolences to her as well in a personal card instead of "online".
God grant you all peace and know that your father will always be there, even though not "in person".
