Gerald Robertson Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Robertson, 78, of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away on September 17, 2008. He was President and CEO of Robertson Associates Manufacturing Inc. of Denver, Colorado until he sold his company to a competitor in 1996. Jerry attended college at the University of Nebraska where he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. Upon graduation he served as a First Lieutenant in the Infantry during the Korean War and following an honorable discharge became a member of the VFW and The American Legion. Following Graduate school he was employed by the American Can Company where he lived in New York City and San Juan, Puerto Rico as Sales Manager of the Caribbean. His international and domestic experience with Ball Corporation was what lead Jerry to starting his own manufacturing company. After selling his home in Evergreen, Colorado, Jerry spent his retirement in Scottsdale, Arizona living in the Phoenician East condos. Jerry is survived by his wife of 55 years, Darlene Robertson, his son, Charles Robertson of San Diego, California, and his daughter, Amy Robertson of Bloomington, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association, PO Box 8462, Chicago. IL 60680.
