My darling Gilbert today is a month that you passed. How I miss you my Gilbert. Today is especially hard because it is Super Bowl and you watched football here at my house and you laughed and ate and had a great ole time. I love you so very much my Gilbert and I miss you so very much.I am having a Mass said for you on the 10th of Feb, and your brothers will be there with their wifes. My most sincere condolences to family and friends, of "Beto" this is the name I grew up calling you, my cousin. Tio Louie and Tia Mary, my mom and dad loved you and shared many family moments together.I remember your laugh and smile of which I have had the pleasure of seeing in your children, Gilbert, Kris, Martha, Danny, Margie, and Johnny, I love you all!

My darling Gilbert here it is Sunday and I miss you so very much.We always went for breakfast and I would cook for you your favorite food.We always were together every holiday with my family. I will be speaking for all of your family Dad, because that is how you and my Mother brought me up to care and to LOVE and not to be a HATER ( this is the word my grandchildren have taught me)!!! Dear father, I remember six months ago when we spoke and you were telling me about how you were coping with your condition and how there were certain things you could not do anymore.
It was at that exact moment you looked up at me and saw that I was getting emotional and you said,no son don't cry, don't be sad, you told me it was just part of life.
You made me promise you that I would not cry and not be sad and just have a beer on you.
Well aside from the beer part dad this will be the hardest promise I will ever have to keep.
