Gracie Miles Obituary

Miles, Gracie S. Santa Cruz
went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 in Peoria, Arizona. Gracie was born on January 6, 1962 to Angela and Jose Santa Cruz in Phoenix, Arizona. She met the love of her life in 1989. Best friends became one on March 28, 1992. Their marriage was blessed with daughter, Raeging Storm. During her lifetime, she was dedicated to her family, to God, and to her many friends. Gracie was a dedicated member of Wings of Faith Church. She volunteered as church secretary, on various committees, and was passionately involved with various ministries. Gracie was vivacious and outgoing; she loved people. She touched the hearts and lives of everyone she met and she exemplified the love of Christ. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jose Angel. She is survived by her loving husband, Ernie Miles, daughter Raeging Storm, siblings Carlos, Gloria, Efren, Connie, Petro, Nellie, Yolanda, Mary Lou, Martin, and Pauline as well as several nieces and nephews and three great-nephews. The Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 10:00 A.M. at South Peoria Baptist Church, 9000 West Olive Avenue, Peoria, AZ 85345. Reverend Don Aime will be officiating. Gracie's ashes will be spread privately at a later date by her loving husband and daughter. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Ernie Miles' name to honor Gracie's wishes for daughter, Raeging Storm's future education. Gracie leaves a legacy of service to God, to her friends, and to a loving family which shares her devotion to the needs of others. Her gracious smile will always be remembered. "Hasta que nos reunamos otra vez" (until we meet again).
