DR WALGREN AND I WORK TOGETHER IN ILLINOIS AT THE AIR NATIONAL GUARD 126 TAC HOSP MST TOM LATIMER
Captain Sullivan

Doc Walgren and I were on a semiannual 'meet and greet' schedule for my FAA medicals for the past decade. He always was able to accommodate my crazy schedule. He always took the time to talk flying, fishing in Alaska and my family.

We will always remember the generosity and kindness of the Walgren family as neighbors in Golfview. We knew of many of Hal's accomplishments, but reading his obituary, we realize how much more he packed into a life full of "good works". Thinking of you, Leanne, and the family.

I will miss the "Doc" and his words of wisdom, He gave me joy in my semi-annual FAA medicals. I especially enjoyed he incredible thought on the present day changes in the country and the airlines. His dogs would greet you at the door and the Doc would cay " come on in". He will forever be remembered!!!

What a wonderful man. The aviation community is truly a lessor place. From the Air Force to 20 years as an airline pilot, I have enjoyed knowing this genuine gentleman.

Dr. Walgren was always a pleasure to meet up with every six months for the faa medical exam. Was shocked to hear of his passing and my condolences to his family. He was a good man and will be missed by many pilots

Leanne, please accept our condolences. Doc and I go all the way back to 1988, when I first returned from my overseas assignment and required a Class 1 FAA physical to begin my airline application process. I was hired shortly thereafter by American Airlines, and because I flew international almost my entire career up to Captain, I required a Class 1 physical every 6 months. Like clockwork, I would call and Doc would be available. For 29 years we visited and chatted about the USAF, airline industry, politics and family. I want you to know just how much I appreciated your husband, his service to our Nation and dedication to keep pilots flying!
Sincerely,
Donald R. "Louie" and Linda Lindberg
