Sun City - James Arthur Garity, Jr of Wisconsin and Arizona passed away peacefully on August 17, 2018. He was born in 1922 in Eagle, Wisconsin. During his lifetime, he held many various jobs, but he most enjoyed being a resource teacher at the former West Phoenix High. He married Barbara Blumer in 1946. Together they were very involved at Encanto Community Church. They were united until her death in 2002. He was predeceased also by his parents and brothers, Robert and John, son-in-law Ed Branch and his step-son Dick. He is survived by his wife, Marie Perkins, daughters Kathy (Ed) Stock and Sherry (Tony Hanlin) Harleman, step-children Sue (Dave) Hayne and Jerry (Kay) Perkins, grandsons Ed Stock and Travis Branch, granddaughters Kortney Snider and Tricia (Bill) Enloe, and seven great-grandchildren, Sarah and John Enloe, Garity, Wilson, and Eamonn Stock, Will and Luke Snider.
