My dad was a one of a kind person when my sister and I were little he took care of us. He played the mom roll and the father roll when that was never heard of. When we both hit our teenage years he met Karen, and her two girls. They had some rough times bringing the two families together, but they did it. She loved his kids like they were her own, and he did the same for hers. Then Saddie came along and completed our family and brought the loose strings together. My dad loved life, and lived it to the fullest. I want to thank him for raising me and my sisters and always being there for us. He will be greatly missed.
I hope that you too can think of the better times that you spent with him, and be thankful for the time that you got to spend with him.

DearUncle Jim, Aunt Mary, Philip, Debbie, Linda, Karen and family, We wish we were there and could give you a hug!!! We pray for you all every night. I will always remember Jim when we were kids and all the fun we had! His devilish smile will live in my heart forever. Karen, we hope your recovery is quick. We wish you all the very best. The strangest thing is that the evening that Jim past on, we had made arrangements to visit Phoenix. I mentioned how excited I was to see everyone. I wish I had done it sooner. IT IS A REMINDER --- TO LIVE EVERY PRECIOUS DAY ON THIS EARTH TO THE FULLEST AND NEVER TAKE ONE LOVED ONE FOR GRANTED! DO ALL WE CAN TODAY! God Bless you all!
Love, Sher, Terry, and all "our blessings"

Through Jim Sr. I know Jim Jr very well. Working with Jim Sr. all the years and Allied Signal & Garret I know how much Jim meant to all of you. The most comforting thing I can bring up is he really filled his life to the brim and may we all do the same. My Prayers are with you all and he will be missed.

Karen and Family,
I am SO sorry for your loss. Although I didn't know Jim personally, I felt I did as I heard about him daily from my son John Marshall. Jim hired my son at Astronetics 7/17/98 even though he had no experience. He gave him a chance and took him under his wing and taught and encouraged him as a machinist. He gave my son great personal and business advise whenever John needed it. John misses all the kidding around they shared at work and mourns for his friend and mentor. I wish I had taken the time to let him know how gratful I've always been to him. Karen,my family and I pray for your recovery.
Sincerely,
Jacque L. Conklin
