Jean Kobasic Obituary
86, Sun City West, AZ died June 14, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ. Born July 19, 1928 in Escanaba, MI to Florence Dufresne. Siblings include brothers Richard and Paul. Married to Anthony J. Kobasic for more than 50 years. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher in the Escanaba school system for over 30 years. She is survived by her brother Richard Dufresne, Escanaba; her son Richard A. Kobasic and his wife Sandra Kobasic, Phoenix; and daughter Nancy J. Widzer, Tustin, CA; three grandchildren Brandon T. Roth, Jaclyn M. Bycott, and Julianne A. Leverenz; and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Anthony J. Kobasic, mother Florence Dufresne, and brother Paul Dufresne. The family is holding a private service in Phoenix. The family asks that memorial donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Charity at stjude.org.
