Uncle Jean will always be remembered for his enthusiastic personality, love for his family, and concern for his community. We all admire the type of person he was and will always miss him. His path in life ended too soon, but he accomplished more than many of us will in a life time. In memory of Jean, we should look around and appreciate our loved ones as he would and always offer a helping hand to those in need.

Lisa, Jean, Nick and Daniel,

It is obvious how deeply and truly Jean loved each of you. Lisa, you were his only love. Jean, Nick and Daniel, your lives are a tribute to him. As does your mom, your dad dedicated his life to making sure you boys become even better men than the man he was. You three are impressive young men already. All of you are great examples to our children. I look forward to seeing more of you.

Lisa, Daniel, Nick and Jean,

I appreciate all of you and I'm very glad we are family. You all mean a lot to me and I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to spend time with you. I'll miss Jean a lot too and I feel he is watching over us. I'm looking forward to someday seeing him again. He was a great brother and someone I looked up to. He had a quiet way about him and all of you boys carry a lot of his great attributes. I know he loved you all very much. It was nice to hear him always talk about you. He was very proud of all of your accomplishments. I hope to be as good a dad as he was and as good a friend.

It was so nice to see everyone while I was in Arizona, and the service was touching. It was incredible to hear how Uncle Jean felt for his family and community. Lisa, your boys are amazing, and they are so lucky to have you. The strength of your family will see you through the difficult times. I can't wait to visit you again. I hope you and the boys will share more stories about Uncle Jean's life. Much love.

Lisa, Lil' Jean, Nick and Daniel,
We will all miss Jean. He was a great little brother and friend. Lisa, he told me often that you were the love of his life. Lil' Jean, Nick and Daniel, there was never a time that we talked that didn't include talking about the three of you. He was so proud to be your dad. It will be difficult for a long time, but we are all here for you. We love you all!

To the Wonderful Russ Family,

No words can change the events in our lives, but the memories are those which know one can steal. Every single one of you is so very special. And next time you are looking at the stars consider this;
"Prehaps they are not stars, but openings in Heaven where the love of Jean pours through and shines down upon you to let you know he is happy"! We are here for each and every one of you always!
