Jeffrey Horstman Obituary

Horstman, Jeffrey
Jeffrey Lauren Horstman, 51, lost his gallant battle against pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, February 13th. He attended Apollo High where he met his beloved sweetheart, Linda Fagan at 15. They married in 1983. Jeff and Linda are blessed by two sons, Micah (age 25) and Troy (age 23) and look forward to welcoming their new daughter, Trisha Terrill who will marry Micah in April. Jeff, an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed golf, poker, hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, riding his quad with family, friends and his "best" buddies, Micah and Troy. A member of the Beer Can Collectors of America, Jeff took much joy in finding the can, that no one else could. He will be remembered for his welcoming smile, generosity, fun loving spirit and the ability to make everyone feel at home. Our Jeff never met a stranger. Jeff is survived by his beautiful wife Linda, his loving sons, Micah and Troy, new daughter, Trisha; father, Darrell; mother, Marlys (Harvey) Deterling; brother, Scott; sister, Sandy (Mike) Holbrook & his family through Linda: Jim & Carol Fagan, Brad & Shron Matson, Tim & Barbie Fagan, all his nieces & nephews and joins Linda's mom,
Judy in heaven. A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 11:00 am at Community Church of Joy: 21000 N. 75th Glendale 85308 and continue afterward at Jeff & Linda's. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: http://www.seenamagowitzfoundation.org/donate.htm l

My thoughts and prayers to the Horstman family. I have such great memories of Jeff from High School. He was always up to something to keep us entertained. His weekly visits and participation in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show", dressing and acting like Kiss at the talent show and many other daring antics. Linda I sure your life together was never boring. Thanks for all the great memories that you left for many of us and your family. Till we all meet again.
