Jennifer Marie Antikainen

Jennifer Marie Antikainen, age 32, died May 27, 2006 while on vacation.
She was born to Gary and Jan Antikainen in Butte, Montana January 7, 1974. She schooled in Whitehall and graduated in 1992. She graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1995 with a degree in hotel and restaurant management and a minor in communications. She was the sales and event coordinator at the Phoenix Zoo at the time of her death. Jennifer met the love of her life, Tony Thomas, in 1994. They are true soulmates for life. Jennifer had an enormous love of life, animals, mountains and fishing. She believed that everybody has a guardian angel. Yet in life she was the guardian angel of everyone she touched, especially Tony and her family. She was preceded in death by her big brother, Don: grandparents Lee and Fred Hildenbrand and Ina and Arthur Antikainen. Survivors include Tony Thomas, parents Gary and Jan Antikainen, brothers, Leon and Eric Antikainen, aunts Liz (Greg) Crossman, Vickie (John) Jones, Charlsie Antikainen, uncles, Dave Antikainen, John Antikainen, John Hildenbrand, special cousins, Molly, Emma and Ellie Crossman, nephews Seth, Zach, Tyler, and Joshua Antikainen, and many other cousins and very special friends. Memorials may be made to the Phoenix Zoo. "It's the time you spent on your rose that makes your rose so important."
