Jermarr Preston Obituary
23, of Surprise, AZ entered into rest on March 17, 2011. Born on March 3, 1988 in York, PA he was the son of Jacki (Eric) Preston-King of Surprise, AZ and Jerome Banks of North Carolina. Along with his parents, Jermarr leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Emma Herring-Preston of Surprise, AZ; three brothers Marlin Ruth Jr. of York, PA, Quantaa Preston of Surprise, AZ and De'Arious Knight of North Carolina; one sister Alondra Finner of North Carolina; former step-father that raised him Marlin Ruth Sr. of Phoenix, AZ; maternal grandparents Bernice (Stephen) Bratton of York, PA and George (Phyllis) Williams of Randallstown, MD; paternal grandparents Tyrone (Laura) Banks of North Carolina; maternal great-grandparents Jackie (Webster) Brown of York, PA; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held at 10 am Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Christlike Life Church, 5035 W. Southern Avenue Suite #110, Laveen, AZ.

It's been 11 years and it seems like you were just laughing and dancing with us. Not a day goes by that a thought of you does not come to mind. All that has happened in the time you have gone if nothing else I hope I have made you proud and honored you in more ways than one, as I will continue until we are together again. A mother's love is eternal, miss you son.

I have know Jp since he was 16 years old. We had friendship that we understood each other without having to say anything. JP was a brother to me and looked out for me. All I know is that my mother is up there and I know she will be there with him. To jackie my prayers are with you and JP brother. Jp you will always be in my heart and I will never forget all the fun we shared together.

Jacki and Q I have known you all for many years now. JP was one of my closest friends and i couldn't believe it when my mother called me with the news.
