Jerome LaRock Obituary
Mesa - Jerome "Jerry" D LaRock 71, went home with Jesus on Monday, December 17, 2018, surrounded by his wife Karen (Kriese), daughters Kelly and Stacy. He was welcomed into heaven by God, his parents Elaine and Duane "Buck" LaRock. Jerry was born in Minot, ND, on August 16, 1947. He grew up in New Town, ND and graduated from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, with a Pharmacology degree. He worked in hospital Pharmacy setting up the IV Additive program at St. Luke's hospital in Fargo, ND, in the early 1970's. He relocated with his wife Karen to Mesa, AZ, in the mid 1970's. He continued in hospital Pharmacy for a number of years before working for Walgreen's over 25 years as a Pharmacist and a Store Manager. His most recent job was with RX Formulations in Mesa, AZ. Jerry was a life long Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed NDSU Bison football, ASU football, basketball, golf and especially watching Gabe play all sports. Camping, fishing and cutting wood in the AZ mountains with friends was also some of his fondest memories. He always enjoyed spending time with his grandson Caden. Jerry is survived by his wife Karen, daughters Kelly, Stacy and grandson Gabe. Other grandchildren include Oliver, Rose and other grandchildren. His brother Jim LaRock.
A memorial service will be held at Living Word Bible Church, 3520 E Brown Rd, Mesa, AZ, on Saturday, January 12, 2018, at 11am.
Thank you to Hospice of the Valley and their loving care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Jerry's honor to Hospice of the Valley.
