I MUST AGREE WITH ERIC... JESSE MY HUSBAND WAS SO VERY APPRECIATIVE OF EVERYTHING THAT WAS DONE FOR HIM IN HIS LAST MONTHS... WHEN IN A NURSING HOME OR AT HOME... HE DID WANT TO BE HOME THE MOST... AND WE DID HAVE HIM FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS... IT WAS DIFFICULT -- USING A HOWER LIFT TO GET HIM INTO A CHAIR TO HAVE HIM AT THE DINNER TABLE..... BUT HE NEVER COMPLAINED... HE KEPT TELLING ME -- JOYCE YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO THESE THINGS FOR ME... AND I WOULD SAY-- JESSE I REALLY WANT TO... AND I AM GLAD YOU ARE HOME WITH ME AND TODD... ... I AM SO SORRY I WAS HAVING SURGERY MY SELF AND COULDN'T BE WITH HIM AT HIS LAST HOUR.... BUT ERIC WAS THERE == JUST AFTER HE TOOK HIS LAST BREATH...IT STILL HASN'T SUNK IN THAT HE ISN'T COMING HOME AGAIN... I MISS HIM VERY MUCH... AND I WILL CONTINUE TO IMAGINE THAT HE IS ON A LONG TRIP AND THAT I WILL SEE HIM SOON.... OF COURSE WE KNOW THAT HE IS IN JEHOVAH'S MEMORY AND WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN WHEN HE IS RESURRECTED... HE WILL BE SO HAPPY TO BE WITH US AND BE ABLE TO HELP US GET AROUND OUR NEW WORLD...I KNOW HE WILL BE LOOKING FOR A BIG LAKE TO GO FISHING... HE LOVED THAT ... I WILL LOOK FORWARD TO FISHING WITH HIM AGAIN..HIS.. LOVING WIFE JOYCE...

Grandpa Jesse, we will miss you so much! I loved you like a father and you always treated me like a daughter! You set such a good example as a loving father and husband; one that never went unnoticed. I can't wait to see you again in good health along with so many of our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. If my prediction is right, you will soon have a little great grandson named in your honor and we will remember you every time we call his name. Much love to the Witter's family who I know is feeling a terrible void. What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All those we love become a part of us. XOXO

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jessie's family. I worked with Jessie many years ago at Grand Canyon. He was an outstanding mentor and friend. He was always kind, even when times were tough, and always had a good attitude. I have thought of him often over the years. May he rest in peace.

It has been very difficult to face the reality that my Dad is no longer around to talk to, confide in and share Helicopter stories with. Dad was always positive and encouraging no matter what the challenge. As life became more difficult for him he never lost his loving and kind demeanor. Always so appreciative of every act of kindness shown to him. Dad touched so many lives, yet never sought out personal recognition. He was a humble gentle soul. Each day that passes, since he went to sleep, I miss him more. Sleep well Dad and when you awake you will be revitalized and young again. I love you so much and I look forward to that day when we can go fishing together, share a meal or just sit and talk. You are in Jehovah's memory and forever in all our hearts.
