Marilyn, I am so sorry. I just heard from Marilyn at Nortech about Jim's untimely passing. Words cannot express our deep sympathy for you and your family. We will miss knowing he is watching over us, but also know that he now has a better view. Please know that we are among those who will miss him very much and that our hearts and prayers are with you all.

I have just learned of Jim's sudden and tragic death today, Aug. 4th. I am in shock and cannot believe that the world's best security agent is no longer alive. His spirit will remain with us always. He was great at what he did and will be sadly missed.

Marilyn -
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jim was one of a kind. The last time he was at our office at the credit union, he talked about his model airplanes. We will all miss him so much. Know that our prayers are with you, and if you need anything, we are here.

Marilyn and family,
Words cannot describe this terrible loss. I still can't believe that Jim will no longer answer the phone when I call and instead of saying "Hello" He would say "hang on there a sec Tammy Marilyn is bringing you guys up." I am going to miss his signature van with the ladder on top pulling into our parking lot and him coming in giving a small wave and walking straight into the back. He would usually do a battery test or show us the newest gizmo. When our alarm would go off in the middle of the night Jim was there, (usually before the police)I will miss his laugh and stories and how he spoke of his family. It still doesn't seem real. He was one of a kind in both friend and security. If there is anything anyone can do please don't hesitate to contact. I can't help but think he is up in heaven figuring out how everything works and still making sure everything is secure down here.

I was so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a great guy. He made me laugh a lot. I was one of his customers in the security business. He helped me many times, no matter what the weather, time of day or anything else. My family and I felt very secure when Jim was watching our house.
Marilyn & Family, I know how hard loss is but the hurt will fade and you will be left with wonderful memories.
God Bless All of You.

I was not only a customer of Jim's but I also thought of him as a friend. Just a few months ago I talked to him about his model electric helicopter. I was so proud to tell him that I had just purchased one and I was learning to fly. He told me that he had hung up his helicopter and was sticking to airplanes. He told me that when you talk to someone that flies helicopters they are always in between crashes. In other words they are always fixing them.
My family’s thoughts and prayers go out to Jim and his Family. I know when he called home he always called Marilyn, "Momma." After he installed our security system at our shop he had to call home and talk to "Momma."
Jim was a special person who always wore a great smile. I really admired Jim and his intelligence. He was a very smart man. I just enjoyed being around him. Jim will definitely be missed by me and others that knew him.
God Bless!
