Joan Dahlstedt Obituary
Joan went to be with her Lord on Friday October 30, 2015. Born in Rockford, IL to John and Mabel Valerius. Two brothers preceded her in death - John and Jim. One sister survives - Jeanne Ellison. Married Irving Dahlstedt on June 25, 1949. Irving and son Daniel preceded in death. Daughter, Barbara Smith survives along with 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Joan was an RN and helped with Pioneer Girls. She loved her family and helping people. Visitation at 10:00 a.m., service to follow at 11:00, Monday November 2, 2015 at Hansen Mortuary, 8314 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020.

Joan was a joy to work with and a dedicated Rehab Nurse. I've thought of her often over the years. Condolences to her family which she spoke of often with great pride and affection.
