Joan Vallely Obituary

Joan (Hall) Vallely passed away May 7, 2007, in Prescott. She was born to Loys and Louise Wheeler on January 15, 1929, in Prescott where her father had a homestead claim in Groom Creek. Orphaned at an early age, Joan was raised by Mattie Blanton and her family in their boarding house on Grove Avenue in Prescott. She was employed by Mountain Bell Telephone Company for 29 years as a telephone operator before retiring in 1984. Joan and Bill Vallely married in 1952 and they celebrated 52 years together until Bill passed away in 2004. She dearly loved him and her family and considered them her greatest treasure in life, Joan is survived by six children, Hugh Vallely of Van Vleck, Texas, Bill Vallely (Nancy) of Prescott Valley, Tim Vallely (Pam), Carol McFadden (George), Terry Vallely (Kathy) and Sue Beyea (Bob) of Prescott; as well
