Joel Birenbaum Obituary
Joel F. Birenbaum, longtime resident of Phoenix, Az, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 5, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Scher (Matthew), grandchildren Zachary and Emily, and brother Steven (Lesley) Birenbaum. He is the son of the late Isaac and Roseline (Hamburg) Birenbaum. Joel was a Partner of Birenbaum & Speen, P.C., a member of AICPA, ASCPA Tax Steering Committee, Phoenix Rotary 100, RMA, Police Inquiries Commission and a Life Member of the NRA. His visions and foresight will long be with us. Donations are requested to be sent to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or American Cancer Society.
