John was my student in seventh grade English class at Carson Junior High. When Toby Smets told me today about John's passing , I remembered him immediately and fondly. John was sweet, kind, intelligent, giving, and talented. I am sure these traits continued his entire life. My heart breaks for his family and friends. Please accept my deepest condolences even so long after his death. He was an outstanding student and I never forgot him.

I met John as a classmate at Carson Junior High, and graduated with him from Westwood High School. He was always friendly, kind, generous, and humble. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. May all who are saddened by John's departure from this life be comforted by fond memories of his friendship and contagious laughter.

John and I worked together at the Phoenix Zoo for 10 years. Although not a close friend, he brightened our world with his welcoming smile. He loved telling us about his camping trips and his little doggie family at home. Though he was with us just a short while, John left a positive mark on the world. He will be missed.

I knew John from his involvement in the Musical Theater out at MCC. He was in Brigadoon with both my daughters, Joyce and Marie Brinton. He was always so jolly and happy. He became a good friend to both my girls. He was my friend as well, and my heart goes out to your family at this sad time. May the Lord bless and keep you. Sincerely, Joan Brinton

Saddened to hear of the Clement family's loss. John had a calm and gentle way about him. My main connection with John was at Clement Motor. He would always make me smile. Not a common experience when you are having car trouble, perhaps proof of his exceptional gift!

My heart breaks for all his family and friends. John was a kind and loving soul whose smile and giggle lit up the room. John will truly be missed here on earth but I know that his father welcomed him with open arms in the Celestial Kingdom. We will all miss John.
