John Endres Obituary

John Endres 89 years of age lived in Scottsdale Arizona, and died on March 8, 2007. John was born on July 13, 1917 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served in the United States Army during World War II. John was blessed with a typical happy American family. He is survived by his lovely wife Helga Elisabeth, a daughter, son, step sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. After serving in the war, John wanted to experience the American dream. He quickly found that it came as the result of tenacity and hard work. His business success included founding and running several companies that provided hundreds of jobs to the citizens of our country. He gained great satisfaction from the many business associates who became friends over his 40 years in business. After retiring, John spent much of his time mentoring, and financing, qualified students through school to professional degrees. The students graduated in engineering, pharmacy, nutrition management, culinary arts, and financial management. This was one of the many ways John gave back to the business world that he enjoyed so much. Coming from a humble background himself, John was proud to be able to help these young people. If you knew John and his philosophy and character, you could imagine that his last words would most likely be "God Bless America". The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the charity of your choice. Your donation of choice could be Hospice of Arizona. Service will be on Tuesday, March 13 at 12:00pm. Services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary, located on 401 N. Hayden Rd Scottsdale, Arizona (480-945-2654).
