My father was the most beautiful soul this world ever saw. He was my life and I don't know how I'm supposed to move on without him

We are really sorry to hear about Jack. I am sure that he will be missed by a large number of people including us. Jack was always great to visit with as he had a different take on life. We think about all of you, and your are in our prayers.

John Leo Marty - Jack was an always-fiercely-loyal friend to others whom he deemed to be worthy of friendship. He was a very strong-willed person who spared no effort to accomplish what he needed to get done and he had no tolerance for laziness, inactivity or others who were not true to their word.

Jack never had time for concern about himself, whether it was his health or any other area of his own well-being. On the other hand, he spared no effort to help those who were in need and asked him for assistance.

His pride and joy and hope resided in his grandchildren - may they grow to be responsible people of truth and integrity in his stead and in his memory.

Our prayers have long been for Jack's decision to trust Jesus Christ for his eternal life, but, again ... an area in which he was respectfully attentive but not open to discussing. Even now we pray that he had made that decision in his own very private way.

Our deepest sympathies are with his family and Katie -- and our prayers in their behalf for comfort and heart-peace from our Father Who loved Jack (and them) so much that He gave His beloved only Son for them, that they might know Him and be saved from sin for all eternity.

Yes, we will miss him.

P.S. Thank you, Emma, for calling us about the services: time, date and location. We are interested in
attending any observance in South Dakota, including the burial. (We do not have Caller I.D., so do not have
a way of returning your call, but would very much appreciate knowing about the burial, as would a number of others here in the Wyoming and South Dakota area.)
Thank you.
