Dear Alice & Todd and family,
It has taken me a while to write in this book because I can't express in words what I want to say. You are my close friends and I hate that this happened. You are wonderful people and we have to know that this is in God's hands. Johnny was young at heart and innocent in many ways. Joe and I love you and are always here for you. You know that.

Dear Alice,
I'm visiting my parents and saw John's obituary in the paper today. I have so often thought of you but haven't known how to reach you. I even asked the Garretts if they knew how to get in touch with you, but they didn't. I will be praying for you. If you would like to reach me, I have written my e-mail address here. John was a beloved member of our state championship football team. He was a warm hearted individual who kept us laughing all the time on and off the field. John sweat and blead with us and we will mourn the falling of one of our brothers. We're the Toros strong and stout...(those who know, know the rest)

Alice I was so sorry to read about John. I remember when I was his teachers quorum advisor and how much fun we had together. I am sure he will be missed by many. Eventhough I haven't seen you for many years I will always remember little Alice singing with my sisters and how full of life you were. God bless you and your family in this difficult time.
