Alice, I felt your sorrow as you told me about losing john. You know I can relate losing my own son just four years ago. Even though we experience sorrow differently, I can tell you that you will find some peace in time. You will remember all the good and can share with hope.
Any time you and Todd would like to talk give me a call, Bob Kyler

Dear Alice & Todd and family,
It has taken me a while to write in this book because I can't express in words what I want to say. You are my close friends and I hate that this happened. You are wonderful people and we have to know that this is in God's hands. Johnny was young at heart and innocent in many ways. Joe and I love you and are always here for you. You know that.
Close your eyes, clear your thoughts, and feel the love of your very own, very real, guardian angel...

Dear Alice,
I'm visiting my parents and saw John's obituary in the paper today. I have so often thought of you but haven't known how to reach you. I even asked the Garretts if they knew how to get in touch with you, but they didn't. I will be praying for you. If you would like to reach me, I have written my e-mail address here. I return to Germany on Friday.
May God give you strength and comfort during this time.
Love,
Linda

John was a beloved member of our state championship football team. He was a warm hearted individual who kept us laughing all the time on and off the field. John sweat and blead with us and we will mourn the falling of one of our brothers. We're the Toros strong and stout...(those who know, know the rest)
...And to his mother Alice, who supported us, we want you to know we support you in your time of need, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family. God Bless.

Johnny You are my best friend. I will miss you more than I can ever express......

Sometimes I Wish...

Sometimes I wish I had the chance to pay back all that’s due
I’d give back all the tiny shreds of tissue you’ve gone thru

If I could soak up all the tears you cry while I’m away
I’d empty them between 2 hills, we’d watch the dolphins play

Sometimes I wish the coco clock that’s hanging on the wall
Would take me back in time just like the trolley to the mall

We’d spend the day in paradise among the ducks so fair
We’d stop for clubhouse sandwiches inside the quilted bear

Sometimes I wish I had a lamp with a genie stuck inside
I’d wish to have a secret that in you I could confide

The genie, once the smoke had cleared, would make my dream come true
Of all the tings I could possess, I’d wish to be with you

Alice I was so sorry to read about John. I remember when I was his teachers quorum advisor and how much fun we had together. I am sure he will be missed by many. Eventhough I haven't seen you for many years I will always remember little Alice singing with my sisters and how full of life you were. God bless you and your family in this difficult time. Love Robert Adair

Alice, my heart is broken for you. Too many loved ones have left you too soon. Remember the foundation your good parents gave you, and smile...because you will see John again.
