I knew Jon at GBN. He was a nice generous young man. We were friends, but not as close as I wished. We both spelled our names correctly (Jon) ;)...... I am sorry to hear of his loss and the family he left behind. As we age, it's times like these that makes us reflect of the kind respectable people that we knew in our lives. My condolences.

I was so sad & shocked to hear the news - almost a year to the day! I went to school with Jon at Glenbrook North. I remember him loving the show, Magnum PI - could never miss an episode! I wondered why I didn't hear from him when did friend request on Facebook & then heard the news from a girl. I also always remember his kindness spoken to me after a dear friend of mine passed in high school. Glad to be able to post this, as needed to do something to share how badly I feel, but know he is watching his loved ones all the time...I can hear his laugh now & picture his squinting eyes - peace Jon...

So sad to hear about Jon. I went to grade school with him in Northbrook and still have extremely fond memories of him. Even though he went to Glenbrook North, all of us from Glenbrook South never forgot him and are very saddened to hear of his premature passing. Many loving thoughts are going out to his family from myself and GBS.

I first met Jon almost ten years ago when we agreed to form a law firm over a bagel at Chompie's. We bonded over shared values in placing our families first. I was always proud to be his partner. My deepest sympathies go to Kate and Jon's children.

Jon will definately be missed by many people whose lives he touched. He was NCPDP's attorney for nearly 20 years and an extremely brilliant man with a special knack for turning what seemed like very difficult issues into easy solutions. I have many fond, wonderful memories working with Jon and will cherish them forever.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. The healing for all of us will require courage and patience. Our prayers, love, and thoughts are with you in this time of grief.

We truly have lost a wonderful friend.

I didn't know Jon really well, but I wanted to express my condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues on their loss. From my limited dealings with Jon (in business), he was honest, with a sense of humor, and cared about the people he worked with. I was aware he was fighting a difficult battle and can take comfort he is now at peace.
