Joseph Blasucci Obituary
Joseph Frederick Blasucci, age 96 of Scottsdale, Arizona passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on November 17th. Beloved husband of Lucille (Garramone) father of Lee (Cheryl), Michael, Richard and David. Joseph and Lucille were married for 72 years and blessed with 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Joseph was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1918, graduated from Monmouth College in Monmouth Illinois and was a decorated Army veteran. He began his business career with Armour and Co. and retired in Arizona with the Greyhound Corp. in May of 1981. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 1pm, at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, 6261 Granite Reef Rd. Scottsdale, 85250. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary.

We were friends and neighbors of Joe and Lucille when we lived across the street from them on Kalil Drive in Scottsdale. He would take our daughter, Taylor for a walk around the neighborhood. Unfortunately we lost touch with them after we moved away. When we´d visit with Joe and Lucille, Joe realized he and my mom used to both go to the "Roof Garden" in the Quad Cities dancing. They didn´t know each other, but quite a coincidence.
Such fond memories. Now our daughter and her husband just became parents.
