Ruth and Family

I am so sorry about Joe and Pat. Pat was a great brother in law to me and we were friendly to this very day. We last saw each other on Xmas Eve when we had champagne. Joe was a great ex dad-in-law. We never had a cross word. I still am in shock.

Joe was such an inspiration to me. He could always cheer us up when we were down. His guidance and support during the 1970's made my work at McCulloch so memorable....he will never be forgotten.

I feel robbed that I did not have the opportunity to meet Joe Strickler. Having worked with Susan and learned of her core values in life, I am certain that she has been highly influenced by this man. No doubt he was proud of his daughter because surely she is a reflection of his life. Thank you for allowing me to read his story.

Susan and Kathy,

What a nice tribute to your father. Liann and I plan to attend the event Saturday if the Portland Airport reopens in time tomorrow. Our hearts are with you both and your families over the untimily loss of a great guy.

Love, Mike
