Kathleen Walters Obituary
Kathleen (Kay) Losacker-Walters, 90, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2012, at the House of Comfort group home, Gilbert, Arizona. Kay was born in 1922 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the daughter of Floyd and Helen McGinnis. She grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota, and married W.G. (Bud) Losacker in 1942. After Bud's death in 1975, she married Rodel Walters (1979). The Losacker family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, in 1949. Kay worked for the Osborn School District and the Thunderbird/M & I Bank. She was a member of Love Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald McGinnis, and both husbands. Kay is survived by her daughter, Jackie Arnold (Colorado Springs, CO), and her two sons, Stephen Losacker (Gilbert) and Robert Losacker [Phoenix], as well as eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, September 17, 2012, 1:00 p. m. at Phoenix Memorial Park.
