Was privileged to know Kelly, got to know him more around the 1971 Class reunion in 2011. So sad to hear late of his man's passing so young. He truly had a good life and family. Rest in peace, my friend.

I have had many wonderful experiences with Kelly and MJ — from a safari in Africa, golfing in Mexico, biking down the Danube and traveling all over Europe. Kelly took such good care of MJ and me on these various trips. I will always cherish our friendship. You will be missed Kel. A true gentleman.

Generous to a fault is an understatement. Kelly and MJ drove from the valley to Pinedale, 3 1/2 hours, just to bring me a shooting table with all the trimmings he bought for me. Wouldn't take a dime. Deb and I looked forward to every Valentines Day as we had a tradition for over a decade of dinner with Kelly and Mary Joe. We will miss him always and love MJ every single day.

Kelly had such a great heart. I was so looking forward to playing another round of golf with him this Fall after his surgery healed then folllowed by our usual sushi lunch

I met Kelly during freshman year in high school, when he sat behind me in Algebra class. His long legs would straddle my desk, and he frequently poked me to make remarks about my hairdo or my dress. He had a very distinctive voice, one that I’ve never heard from any other soul. He was able to find kinship with the sports teams at the high school, and he continued to carry most of those friendships throughout his life. He was an unforgettable character. My condolences to his family and friends.
