Lawrence Farnesi Obituary
age 81, late of Phoenix, passed away April 22, 2011. Beloved husband of Vivian E. Farnesi nee Malloy; devoted father of David (Mary Patricia) Farnesi, Lauren (Randall) Weeda, Patricia (Robert) Peppers, Carole (John) Sharpe, Daniel (Joleen) Farnesi, Joyce (Dr. James) Gridley and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Olson; proud grandfather of 20 and great grandfather of 4; loving brother of Dolores (late Leonard) Verrilli and Leonard (Diane) Farnesi; kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Retired Personnel Director at Verson All Steel Press with 42 years of dedicated service. Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Mass on Monday, May 16 9:30 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 3550 East Knox Road in Phoenix. Inurnment was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Dearest Vivian,
I can't find the words to express how much you and Larry mean to me.
You have both seen me through my grief for the last five years. I truly feel like I am part of your family. You have always been there for me. Vivian know that I am here for you. I wish there was some way I could take the pain from your heart. I trust God will see you through this time of grief.

I keep looking at photos of Uncle Larry and remembering his smile, how he always had time for everyone and it is so overwhelmingly sad to know he is gone. I wish I could be there with everyone. Larry was a wonderful friend and mentor to me when I was beginning my training as a sacristan and eucharistic minister to the sick at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Phoenix. Rochelle and I had many wonderful times with him and Vivian. Our love and prayers go out to him, Vivian and the whole family.
