Leonard LaBelle Obituary

Leonard "Lenny" LaBelle, 79, of Scottsdale, AZ, died December 21, 2005. Leonard was born in Minneapolis and came to Arizona in 1985. He was the founder and retired corporate executive of LaBelle's Distributing, Inc. (later Modern Merchandising Inc.) Lenny was also a volunteer for the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce as a business counselor for 10 years. Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Natalie, daughters Sheera (Greg Adams) LaBelle of Portland, Maine, Ellen LaBelle of Phoenix, Judie (Yehuda Trop) LaBelle of Raanana, Israel, and son Rob (Megan) LaBelle of West Vancouver, British Columbia, and 9 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 23rd at 1:30 pm. at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 24210 N. 68th St. in Phoenix. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 and Temple Chai Shalom Center for Healing, 4645 E. Marilyn Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85032. Arrangements by Sinai Mortuary.

I never knew Lenny (since my childhood) without a smile on his face. That is what I'll remember and cherish about him, as well as his generous and loving nature.
