Leonard Wright Obituary
89, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on February 26, 2012. He served in the Army Air Corp between 1941 - 1945 as a B-24 pilot and was stationed overseas in Guam and the Philippines. He married E. June Light on September 8, 1946. He started with Tradewind Industries, Inc as an accountant in 1949 and eventually became president. He led the company until he sold it in 1979.
He is survived by his wife, E. June Wright, Scottsdale, AZ. His brother, Paul Wright. His six daughters, Lynda Leonard, Tricia and Tom Kolbrener, Catherine Wright and Dave Leet, Houston, TX, Susan and Tom Podiak, Theresa and Brady Heath, and Amy and Mike Crellin, eleven grand-children and spouses, and six great-grandchildren. A Memorial service, (Celebration of his Life) will be held on April 6, 2012, in Rio Verde, Arizona. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that donations be made either to the First United Methodist Church of Liberal, Kansas, the Scottsdale United Methodist Church, http://scottsdaleumc.org/ or to Arizona Rescue, http://azrescue.org/donation_programs.php.
