Leslie Merriwether

Leslie Merriwether, 82, of Phoenix. Born in Lackawanna, New York on November 29, 1925 to Horace and Clara Merriwether, Leslie passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on May 28, 2008, at age 82. She grew up in Lackawanna and became an RN with a BA from the University of Buffalo and earned a Masters Degree while in Texas. She has worked in the nursing field for over 30 years and will be greatly missed. Her son, Gregory R. Hamilton was a decorated serviceman who preceeded her in death. Surviving is her daughter Claudia Hamilton and grand-daughter Kimberly Peay of Orchard Park, New York. She also left behind sister Cynthia Harmon and her nephew Christopher Harmon and his family of Phoenix, Arizona Memorial services will be held in Orchard Park, New York.
