It is with sadness but deep respect that I send this message to the family. Mr Torrez was a true friend of Villareal Elementary. He gave generously of his time and talent to the students and staff. We waited for him every week and he never failed to show up and help the students. You have no idea how many children he helped. The Bible says: "Suffer the little children to come unto me"...Lou allowed so many children to come to him for help in math and reading. He was a perfect example of a true and loving Christian and I thank all of his family for sharing him with us. Rest in peace,Lou and we will remember you forever.
