Mark touched many lives across the state as he worked with the State Communications Vehicles. He was more than willing to help and went well above the call of duty to help us with whatever he could do to help.. He will be missed greatly missed by all the Toad crews...Especially Toad 4 Navajo County

My sympathies to Mark's family. I had the privilege of working with Mark over the past year and enjoyed his company very much. He often spoke of his family and how proud he was of them. Mark will be missed.

I knew Mark from our service in the 107th Air Control Sq., Arizona Air National Guard. I was stunned to hear about his passing.
Rest in Peace Brother.

I was very saddened to hear of Mark's passing and send my condolences to his family. I thoroughly enjoyed being around him, hearing his stories and how candid he was. I had the good fortune to work with Mark on several projects over the last two years. We were both so proud of the written and video SOPs that were created for the Toads (communications vehicles) across the state. The team laughed while watching his expressions during the project – no rolling of the eyes during filming ? He will be remembered fondly by those that watch the videos in the future. Mark jumped into projects with both feet and was a pleasure to work with. He cared so much about all that he was responsible for, had great integrity and did all that he could to make sure things were done well. I am so glad he was able to go to the Colorado meetings with our team so we were able to spend more time with him recently.
I met Malina at the National Guard facility earlier this year when we were doing a communications exercise. It was obvious how proud of you he was by how he spoke of you, and that he would work you into conversations about the base. He was so excited to introduce you to all of us this year – his smile was ear to ear while he was around you! He also spoke lovingly of his granddaughters. I will miss seeing his smile and hope your memories bring smiles to you during this difficult time.
