Mrs. Lauer was my third grade teacher at Longfellow Elementary School in Mesa. A fond memory is of her reading to us most days from one of the "Little House" books by Laura Ingalls Wilder. She was a kind and gracious lady that I admired even then. Sincere condolences to her family and friends.
