Michael Suess Obituary
Peoria - Michael A. Suess, of Peoria, AZ, passed peacefully in his home surrounded by family 9/7/18. Born in Sleepy Eye, MN, 11/29/30, he was a Veteran, musician, woodworker, artist and professional baker. In 1970 he moved to Phx with his family where he enjoyed a long career as a bakery manager for Smitty's. He demonstrated his love of life by throwing twice yearly "festivals" for friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by daughter Katherine Suess and wives, Celine and Alice, respectively, survived by children Anthony Suess; Timothy (Charlene) Suess; Patricia (William) Meznarich; Maryellen (Clayton) Hall; Frances (Ronald) Bishop, eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. Mass & memorial service will be held Oct. 12, 2018, 10:00 am, St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Goodyear, AZ, followed by the last festival in his honor, noon-4:00 pm, Sun Air Estates Clubhouse, 9620 W. Brown St., Peoria, AZ 85345.
