Muriel Ann Harrison

Muriel Ann Harrison - On June 4th, 2008 Muriel went to be with her Lord
and Savior. Muriel Ann was born to Leo F. and Claudia Bergeron March 29, 1927. Unable to get to the hospital, Muriel was born in her Aunts farm home in rural Bottineau, ND. Muriel attended country schools and later Notre Dame Catholic high school in Willow City, ND and also two years at Oaks, ND. Muriel attended St. Benedicts, at St. Cloud, MN. She went on to teach school at Omemee, ND, where she met Marvin and on August 11, 1947 they were married. They made their home in the Omemee, ND community. They were the last couple to be married in the rural Tarsus Catholic Church. They would have been married 61 years in August. To this union was born Cynthia Ann, Les Paul, Bonnie Rae and Claudia Mae. Marvin's adopted brother Robert Carl was also a member of the family. When Marvin retired from the postal service and farming, they retired to Leisure World in Mesa, AZ. Muriel was a teacher, a homemaker, a loving wife, and grandmother. She had many interests-homemakers, 4H, golf ,dancing, Red hat society, and duplicate bridge. She was an excellent seamstress and accomplished knitter. She also was a member of Holy Cross Alter Society and most of all a loving Mother and Wife. Muriel leaves her husband Marvin, a sister Lyla Mae Rutledge of Oklahoma City, 10 grand children and 7 great grand children, many nieces and nephews, and a host of wonderful friends. Funeral Mass will be Wed., June 11, 2008 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S. Power Rd, Mesa, AZ.
