Nathaniel Lee Obituary
72 of Phoenix, passed away on September 3, 2012. He was born on March 16, 1940 in Summerville, South Carolina. He was the third child born to Handy Jacob Lee and Elizabeth Simmons Lee who preceded him in death. He spent his early school years attending Alston High School in Summerville. He was engaged in several local entrepreneurial ventures including The United Academy of Beauty, Charlesetta's Hair Designs and Nathaniel Lee's Real Estate Investments. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Charlesetta Lee and their children, Nathaniel Lee, Jr. (Dawn), Derrick Lee and Erika Lee-Shivers (Sean) and his daughter Sandra Barge; grandsons (Nathaniel III, Bryce, Andre, Davon, Deon, DeAndre, Sean Jr.) granddaughters (Antreal, Gloria, Deysha, Anaya), and great granddaughters (Isabel and Kay' Launi) all of Phoenix; Sisters Dorothy Mackey (Harold) of Phoenix, Beatrice Lee and brother Furman Lee (Jane), both of San Diego; Aunt Helen Jackson of Baltimore, Maryland and a host of relatives and friends. Services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Greater Bethel A.M.E. Church 7040 S. 40th Street in Phoenix. Viewing at 10:00 a.m.; Service at 11:00 a.m.
