Nellie Fraijo

Scottsdale - Nellie Fraijo, 93, of Scottsdale Arizona graced heaven with an angel on January, 12 2019. She passed peacefully surrounded by family. Nellie was an Arizona native born to Jesus Acedo and Julian Villalobos. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years Archimedes and her only son Arquimedes. She is survived by 3 daughters Gloria, Esther (Jerry), and JoAnn as well as daughter in-law Denise. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 12:00pm, Visitation is 11:00am until time of service. Scottsdale Presbyterian Church, 3421 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85251, Food and drink reception to follow service. Mom loved to see us all in bright, colorful attire, please join us in celebrating her. Nellie was a beautiful soul to her very core. Her love for family and helping others was unmatched by any. She touched every life she encountered in a way special to each individual. Nellie knew no strangers and any encounter with her was sure to result in a story, friendship, and parting wisdom. Nellie was beauty, kindness, and grace wrapped into one, further accentuated by her love of life and others. Her spirit was not dictated by her age and even in her final days enjoyed music and dancing long into the night. Nellie loved all and scorned none, and though many will remember her for her cooking, sewing, and teaching we will remember her for a smile. A smile that came from the heart and could warm even the coldest of night.
