Patricia Cagle Obituary

Cagle, Patricia
Patricia Cagle died September 3, 2012, at age 60. We mourn the tragic loss of our beloved sister, Patricia, who fought a courageous battle against breast cancer. Trisha was the mother of Devan Cagle, grandmother of Devan, Jr. and Christian Cagle, and loving younger sister to Kathleen Butterly (John), Deidre Mizer and Wm. Doody. Trisha was born on January 10, 1952 in Long Beach, CA, to Wm. and Melba Doody. She was raised in Bakersfield and Delano, CA, eventually moving to Northridge, CA, as an adult. She then moved to Orange County, CA, in the early 1990's, where she lived for several years. Before moving to Phoenix, AZ, Trisha received her paralegal certification and worked at law firms in Newport Beach and Los Angeles, CA. For five years prior to her death, Trisha was employed as a paralegal at Stinson, Morrison & Hecker, Phoenix. She was a dedicated and conscientious employee, who worked tirelessly for over 25 years as a paralegal. She seemed to thrive in a very demanding field, always striving to do her very best in every task she encountered. Trisha travelled extensively in prior years and was especially fond of Italy and France. She was at her best when dancing the salsa. Trisha is predeceased by her parents and her favorite aunt, Nita Rodriguez (her other mother)(husband Paul survives), as well as grandparents and other aunts, uncles and cousins. She is survived by her son, two grandsons, sisters and brother, as well as niece Monica Irwin, nephews Sean Doody, Aaron, Patrick and Matthew Pitts, and Sean and Colin Butterly, and was predeceased by nephew Stephen Mizer. Trisha believed in a resurrection, whereby those who have died and are deserving will be resurrected to a New Order of Things here on earth. She believed in Jehovah's promise in the Bible that "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be . . . pain any more, for the former things have passed away." We pray that we will all be together again in that New Order; until then, we will miss our beautiful sister with all our hearts. Such a wonderful person, who died needlessly in the prime of her life. She will be in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, our sweet, sweet sister, until we see you again. Kathleen Butterly, John Butterly and Deidre Mizer.

Good bye my dear aunt Trisha! You will be missed so dearly by those of us who know you so well. I will never forget growing up with you and the memories that were shared. Things now certainly have a different perspective with you no longer here. But I'll always remember your kind nature and a kind heart. You are still and will always be loved here. Rest well, beauty!

Mother, I will always love you and miss you dearly. You did so much for me, and now that your gone... I regret a whole lot of things in my life. I promise to try to be the man you wanted me to be. Be the father and future husband that you expected of me.

I miss you so much, it hurts me every single day!

I love you with all my heart!

Your loving Son,

Devan
