Patricia Pilcher Obituary

Patricia (Pat) Bragg Pilcher

Phoenix - Patricia (Pat) Bragg Pilcher was born on February 18, 1928, to parents Allan and Elaine Bragg, the founders and owners of Bragg's Pies. Pat passed away on Dec. 8, 2018 at the age of 90. She attended schools in Phoenix, graduating from North High School, and in 1948 she graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority.

While in college she met and married William Souers, the father of her four children. In 1989 she moved back to Phoenix where she was reunited with her long-standing high school friend, William Pilcher. They were married shortly thereafter. During her lifetime she traveled extensively. She played golf and tennis and enjoyed bridge. More than anything she loved her family, her friends, her dog, and all of nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elaine and Allan Bragg; her husband, William Pilcher; and her beloved sister, Jan Bragg Marshall. She is survived by her sons and daughter: Lawrence Clark Souers, William Rand Souers, Gary Allan Souers, and Jamie Lee Souers Pelton. Other members of her extended family include her five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; her niece, Kelly Waring, and three nephews.

At Pat's request, there will be no public service or burial.

In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to East Valley Hospice at 1311 West Chandler Boulevard #200, Chandler, AZ 85224.
