Paul Clouse Obituary
87, of Paradise Valley, AZ
Our Dad and beloved husband died peacefully on April 22, 2012. Paul is survived by his wife Muriel (Mim) of 63 years, daughter Paula Rawlins and son Mark (Carolyn), 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by this parents Bill and Frankie Clouse and brother Merle. Paul was born December 12, 1924, in Nappanee, Indiana. He served in the United States Army, and fought in World War II. After the war he worked his way through College and obtained an degree in Civil Engineering from Purdue University. Paul and Mim decided to move west in 1958 to start a new era in their lives and settled in Phoenix, AZ. Paul started a very successful Civil Engineering Company, Clouse Engineering, and proceeded to help shape what we know as the Phoenix metropolitan area today. His firm engineered countless residential communities throughout the valley and he truly established himself as a Land Development Pioneer of Arizona. Clouse Engineering is in their 5th decade of operation. Towards the end of his life, Paul developed Kidney disease and endured dialysis for a year and a half until the end of his life. His family and friends will truly miss his kind disposition and laughter. A memorial will be held on May 20, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Messingers Mortuary Chapel at 7601 E. Indian School Rd. Scottsdale, Az. We will miss you Papa and God Bless!!

To this day I remember things about Paul. He gave me my shot at engineering or the Sat. morning breakfast at Good Egg. I would like to say to his family that if it were not for Paul Clouse a lot of people would not be where they are.

Mim and family. Our thoughts are with you. If it were not for Paul Clouse I would not be where I am today. He was a person I really looked up to.

Thinking about the Clouse family during this time. I enjoyed my sessions with Paul and I will always remember his dedication to hard work and keeping ME on my toes :)

My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Clouse family. Mr. Clouse was a kind, gentle man who enjoyed life. He loved to laugh and always wanted to know what us kids were up to. A lot of good memories growing up around the Clouse household. Paul will be greatly missed. God Bless-
