Chadwick, Phillip Angus
Phillip Angus Chadwick (known as Phillip), 78, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2015, at his home. Born in Prescott, AZ, to parents Sara Brown-Chadwick and Angus L. After transferring to Phoenix in 1961, Phil worked for ADOT's Phoenix Maintenance District Lab #1. Towards the end of his ADOT career, Phil was elected as president of the Arizona Highway Dept. Chapter of the Arizona Public Employee's Association (APEA). Phillip retired from ADOT after 34 years of loyal service. Phillip married Martha Stribling in August of 1957 and they had three children. They were married 27 years. Phillip loved and was extremely proud of his children. He loved fishing, old movies and collecting historic artifacts. He was a native Arizonian. Phillip is survived by his son Don Angus, Phoenix, AZ, daughter Cheryl Ann, Show Low, AZ and Lori Wynn Kilcoin, Taylor, AZ; his grandchildren Don A. Chadwick Jr., Phoenix, AZ, Jeffrey David Kilcoin, Show Low, AZ. and great-grandchildren, Cadence Marie Chadwick and Skylar Lynn Kilcoin; his siblings, sister Sara Diane Chadwick-Brown and brother John Myron (Beth) Chadwick. I was always a little afraid of your dad. I think he got a kick out of that. I'm very happy he is at peace now. Blessings to each of you - Martha, Don, Cheryl and Lori, as you experience this loss in your own way!

I worked with Phil in the Phx District Lab back in the 70's or 80's, so long ago I can't remember exactly. He was a great guy and it is an honor to have known him. My condolences to his family.

Wonderful man. Quick with a joke and a wink, wicked smart with a generous heart. Adored by family and friends. Blessed to have known and loved him. His legacy lives on in his incredibly devoted son and daughters.

I got to know Mr. Chadwick after his daughter, Cheryl, and I started dating a little over a year ago. He was always very kind to me and I enjoyed sitting and watching old movies with him. My heart goes out to his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. You will be missed sir. RIP
