My deepest sympathy To Ralph's wife and his family and the Tempe Church of the Nazarene. I was counseled by Ralph back in 2002 when I lived in the Casa Grande area when my husband & mom died just 3 days apart. His compassion and Christian guidance meant more to me than words can express. I know he is in Heaven and we will meet again someday. My prayers to you all and God Bless you all. Nancy White

Dear Margaret, Jan, Jeane and family,

I will always remember Pastor Ralph for his kindness to me when I first started working at the church. He was always so thoughtful with little gestures, like asking if I wanted a soda or offering me the more comfortable chair during staff meeting. And he sure did like to laugh! Sometimes he would lean over and whisper something to me that he found funny, and then we would crack up in the meeting. He was always approachable and helpful, and his love for his family was obvious and touching. I pray you feel God's comfort while you wait to be reunited.

Rev. Scott was a great and caring man. He was also an inspiring leader, serving until his death as Board Chairman for America's Christian Credit Union in southern California. Thank you for your leadership, Rev. Scott. We all miss you and mourn your passing.

Margaret, I did send you a card already but it just still heavy on my heart that Ralph has left us.

I am especially grateful for the times Pastor has counseled my son when I was unable to understand his pain when his mother abandoned him and during a long period he was taken from me and then the divorce. My son today is very secure in God's love and he has lived his life with joy and I can only thank the Lord that Pastor Scott was there.

Then there was the time I lost my closest sister in death as she went on to be with the Lord. Pastor Ralph by grace of God saw my sorrow and showed me to grieve was o.k. and I finally found peace.

I do really miss him, I was looking forward to working with him helping me with the Usher group at TNC. But Oh how I know where he is and we will again meet and have such joy!

My Prayers and love to you and all your family!

Dear Margaret, You and Ralph were a very important part of our lives for period of time at Garden Grove. Thank you for those times. Please accept my sympathy and my awareness of your sorrow. I cannot believe that the strong man I visited at your home in February has left this earth, but I do believe that you and I will see him again.

I am saddened that my friendship with Ralph was so short. I have learned so much from this man and hope to use the skills he so willining shared in my future career. My friendship with him over the past year is something that I have, and will continue, to cherish. I know that we will be able to resume our chats some day, but until then, I'm going to miss him greatly.

Pastor Scott was loved by many. He had alot of people that looked up to him and for those that did not know him I wish you did. He was the pastor of my church for most of my life. I see him as being my first pastor. Margaret is a very strong woman and I have missed her alot since they moved. Both of them have given me alot of words of wisdom to live life by. I believe you will continue to be strong margaret and keep living your life for god.

Sincerly,

Pastor Scott was my Pastor at the Garden Grove Church of the Nazarene for 18 years. He was always there for his people, weather it be on a fishing trip, visit in the hospital, or conversation in the office. He always had a sense of humor, and always good for a joke. I will never forget the time we decided to play one on him, it was at a baptismal service and my brother and I let loose about 200 gold fish in the baptistery. Pastor got into the water, chuckled, and said over the microphone....looks like somebody wanted to make this as authentic as possible ( then had to try to retain his composure while explaining to the congregation what he was talking about) He will always hold a special place in my heart and will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers go out to Margaret, and the rest of the family.

This seems so surreal. I remember fondly the years of ministry as well as the years of working together at the church. I will always remember his love of the Lord, Margaret and family, fishing, and roses.
