Not a day goes by that I haven't thought of you and cried. My mind seems to refuse the idea that I will never see you again...talk you again....or hug you again...it just doesn't seem possible that you are gone. I pray for Kelly, hope she recovers and leads a long healthy life. I know she has a lot of people around providing her love, support and prayers. Miss you, Mo!

I was introduced to MO and Kelly when they visited Mo's sister-in-law (Kelly's aunt), Chris Dewhurst in Columbus Ohio. Chris had told my husband and I many stories about them and how they were her closest living relatives. Those stories were so descriptive of MO and Kelly we couldn't wait to meet them.
My husband, a big Ohio State and Indians fan, a guy who played softball 7 days a week really hit it off big time with MO. Their banter filled the room with laughter as they exchanged their experiences. MO seemed like a person who never met a stranger, the kind of friend who everyone wanted. I could see why Chris considered MO more of a sister than an "in-law" and Kelly more of a daughter than a niece.
As the evening continued, we learned MO was quite a character, her zest for life was infectious and her love for Kelly was beyond words, which really warmed my heart. I could see why Chris told me many times they weren't just mother and daughter they were "best friends"
The devastating news of Mo's accident and Kelly's injuries has torn Chris apart as well as their friends and family. Getting to meet MO and hearing about her life in Arizona, how special her friends were to her and how her world revolved around Kelly was a blessing I will always treasure.
I know God welcomed MO into heaven with open arms, guided there by His son Jesus. I pray for Kelly, Chris and Mo's family and friends that the wonderful memories you shared with MO be a treasured gift you hold in your hearts forever and may they bring you comfort in the days ahead.

Mo's impact will be felt by many for years to come. She was the friend that everyone wanted to be around and the person people wanted to be like. Her help and influence with such worthwhile programs as the Wake Up Club and Community projects brought her into contact with so many of the Simpson Family that she was an intregal part of nearly every event that had a positive impact on students and families in the neighborhood. I will miss the banter of the MSU and Ohio State games and the shrug of her shoulders when she knew she had the stronger argument. Mo was a GEM that will be missed and a memory that will be cherished. Rest in Peace. Semper fi, Paul

I am truly blessed to have known Mo. We met at Kung Fu when Kelly was training. Shortly after, Mo decided to train alongside Kelly. Mo had an incredible journey, and grew and evolved along the way. She became not just part of a student body, but part of our family. Mo gave it everything she had, every time she stepped on the mat. She was an inspiration to all of us - from the youngest to the oldest. I will miss her smile, her laugh, her presence in classes, graduations, seminars, and other activities for which she was always a part of. Over the past 9 years, she became my good friend. To my good friend I say, thank you for being a part of my life. Thank you for training with me. Thank you for being you, and always striving to keep learning and growing. I will miss you Mo! Safe journey to the next life, and I look forward to seeing you again and hearing that laugh. ❤

Mo, you will be missed more than you'll ever know. You were always so helpful and encouraging to everyone. I'll miss going to lunch with you on Saturdays and laughing at and/or bemoaning our goofs and foibles in class. You are a beautiful soul who brought love and laughter to all who knew you. Rest in peace my special friend.

Dearest Mo,
Words can not express how much we will miss seeing you. You were so sweet and fun to be around. Your encouraging words you always had to help Tanner through his black belt will always stay in his heart. Abigail will always know that her Auntie Mo loved her so. Your laugh and your smile will never be forgotten. Until we see you again in heaven.

Dear Mo,
Your presence lightened every room you entered. You were a rock - solid, dependable, humble, funny, and deeply compassionate. Everyone knew they could count on you; you had our backs. I loved training with you. You were such a fun partner to work with. Of course, I will miss you more than anything for your sweet smile and warm laugh. You were goodness personified. Know that we are also praying for your precious daughter. Love you, Mo. I miss you.

Mo,
Kung fu is not going to be the same without you. I will miss practicing weapons with you, getting your help on the equipment, and practicing Longfist side-by-side. You've been a fixture in the UKF community ever since I started my training and the absence of your presence will be conspicuous. I will miss the humor and helpfulness that you always brought to class. Rest in peace, Mo, until we all meet again!

My dearest Mo,
Monday morning walking into work I received news I never expected to hear. The infectious smile and silly personality always made you one of the best people to be around. Educational Services will never be the same without you around. I look through the doorway every morning expecting to see your stuff by your desk. For the last two days I have replayed my childhood and the pop warner games where Kelly was a cheerleader and you cheered "how funky is your chicken" as loud as you could. You will forever be missed by all and forever loved by many. Rest In Peace my sweet friend!

You were an amazing woman, mom, and friend. We shared the same passion for raising our daughters to be loving, strong, smart, and fiercely loyal young women. The times that we had at our impromptu single-moms dinner/movie/game club will forever remain as some of my most favorite memories! They were filled with so much fun and laughter! Later in life, we got to even work together at the same school district. Which was pretty neat! You will be forever missed. Rest easy my friend. Prayers of comfort and strength to Kelly and your family.

Mo, Thank you for allowing us to be part of your life. Your infectious laugh and your focused love for your daughter always got to me in a way that is hard to explain with words. May Jesus hold you as you enter his kingdom and comfort you as you watch down on your little girl during her hospital stay. We all love Kelly and will continue to pray for her here on earth. You will truly be missed. Gods Speed Mo.
