Randolph Scott Obituary

Scott, Randolph
84, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on February 4, 2017. Randy was born on the island of Trinidad in the West Indies, and upon emigrating to the United States, joined the U.S. Air Force, where he served his adopted country during the Vietnam War. Randolph graduated from San Jose State with a degree in Sociology and maintained a factory-based career in the chemical and technology industries for more than four decades. Randy was an avid sports lover and would walk for miles each day, even past his 80th birthday. A baritone soloist, with a rich, melodic voice, Randy sang professionally for many years, also sharing his wonderful gift of music with friends, family, and each of the congregations of which he was a part. Randy is survived by Barbara Quow-Scott, his wife of 28 years. Among his other survivors are the following: his great aunt, Agatha Audain; his stepdaughter, Nicole Quow-Thomason; his grandsons, Sean and Makoto Thomason; his brother, Hollis Scott; his sister, Gloria Steele; his nephew, Ron Steele; and his niece, her husband, and two sons, Rhanda, Russell, Riley, and Roman Wells, respectively. Preceding him was his sister, Jenifer Hall. Memorial services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Foothills Baptist Church, 15450 S. 21st St, Phoenix, AZ 85048. Friends and family are also welcome to attend the burial, including full military honors, which will precede the memorial at 9:00 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
