Richard Hutton Obituary

Hutton, Richard "Dick" Warren
Our beloved dad, Dick Hutton, passed away on March 28, 2011 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was a man of many talents and friends and was an "artist of life" in the truest sense of the word. Dick was born in Armour, South Dakota in 1929 and created an extraordinary life that included employment as fine artist, counselor, soldier, "Styx" the circus clown, race car driver, policeman, acrobat, and many others too numerous to mention. His motto in life "To be eccentric, you have to be rich. I'm poor, so I'm just weird," was something he reveled in and endeared him to everyone he came in contact with. Dick is survived by his fiancée Mary Ann; children, Joisan (Craig), Kimberly (Gary), Rick (Karri); brother, Dean (Joan); grandchildren, Rachel, Anthony, Emily, Amy; nieces and nephews, Julie, Jeff, Joe. A memorial service was held at the Desert Botanical Garden on May 1st, 2011 attended by close family and friends. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers or gifts, that donations in the name of Dick Hutton be made to Omega Vector, 1837 E. Indian School Rd., Phoenix, AZ 85016

Among many of his personal gifts, Dick possessed brilliance, warmth, great humor and a spirit of generosity.
I am grateful to have known him.
