Richard Raskin Obituary

Raskin, Richard Arthur
Born March 29, 1928, went to be with the Lord March 30, 2013. Dick took the last leg of his journey home in the loving arms of all of his children. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of Marian and Joseph Raskin. Married to Laura Ann Raskin for 60 years. Dick was the quintessential Arizona Cowboy. Ever an independent maverick and adventurer, he and Laura spent 50 years in the cattle business buying and selling cattle all over the Southwest. He leaves behind three children; Kathy Madison (Dan), Rick Raskin and MaryAnn Raney (Jim). Seven grandchildren; Adam Madison, Meredith Lane, Danielle Madison, Michael and Patrick Raney, Katie and Joey Raskin. Five great-grandchildren; Julia, Gray and Lauren Madison, and Madison and Carson Lane. Papa will be forever remembered for his funny stories, silly jokes and crazy antics.
