Richard Smyth Obituary

Richard L. Smyth took his last breath on the morning of November 25th, 2007. He was survived by his wife of 40 years Jean Smyth, son Lance and his fiancé Leandrea Gaff, as well as youngest son Brian, his wife Tracy, and of course, Richard's two angels, his granddaughters Sinjin & Jaysin. Also his brothers Kenny Smyth and Greg Smyth survive him. Richard was born October 1, 1945 in Brooklyn NY and started his new life in AZ in 1972. He has been a devoted employee for Chas Roberts for 36 years, where his friends and colleagues extend too many to count. If you would like to join family and friends as Richard tees off for the last time, the celebration of his life begins at 4:45 PM for a sunset service on Thursday, November 29, 2007 on the first tee, at The 500 club, 4707 W. Pinnacle Peak Rd.

The Smyth Family,

Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you. If we learned anything from Rick and Ric...it would be that frienship, family and hardwork makes for great memories. Thank you for allowing the Stone family to share in some of those memories.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
