I have only found out Bob has passed. He was so large in life, never thought he could die!
I am sad as he was a dear friend and represented a successful entrepreneur, great adventure spirited, unlimited energy and zest for life.
I wished I'd known of his struggle with cancer, I know too well. His Bowling Green AA buddy, Lloyd Frandsen, introduced me to him, when Lloyd married my mother, Jean Godsey-Frandsen. They shared with me fabulous, hilarious, and memorable
stories! Rundy was mine whenever he went out of town. His Lhasa Apso, Rudy, was a very cool dog as well, a constant companion. We loved our dogs! and memories never die. I will see him on the other side. I treasure Bob's friendship and my memory of him is of a remarkable, creative, dedicated, ethical, caring, and fits the title "one of a kind", MAN!

Bob was a great guy. if it wasn't for Bob we would have never bought our property in Park City.
We had a great time together.
My thoughts are with his family.

We lost a good one. Bob was a great buddy who I got to know thru the Car Washing business and on multiple river trips with a bunch of Car Washers. We had a great time together and I have many fond memories of the river, conventions and skiing at Park City and staying in the house above the Car Wash. Save a spot for me up there with you and Guy!!!!!!

Bob was a very nice man. Bob and my dad Jim(in AZ were good buddies and spent much time together. My dad had huge love for Bob. I remember Mr Bob and his special little buddy Rudy that he didn't go ANYWHERE without! The funniest thing ever was when he rolled up to my dad's house in his smart car with Rudy hanging out the window! I was trying to get his number a couple weeks ago to check on him. I hope you all are hanging in there and my thoughts are with you!

Please accept my heart felt sympathy for the loss of your father, grandfather and brother. He was a gentle giant.
I met Bob in the early 2000's in Scottsdale and we shared some wonderful times together. He was always a true gentleman; kind, respectful and courteous.
We lost touch through the years and yet for some reason he was on my mind the first week of April. I wondered how he was doing and what new adventure he was on. It wasn't until Sunday, April 17 that I read of his death in the Arizona Republic newspaper. I had no idea he was so ill. Bless his big, sweet heart.
When we were together or talking on the phone he often spoke with such pride about his children and precious grandchildren. All of you meant everything to him.
He spoke of losing Janet often and consoled me because I was facing a very similar situation with my own daughter. His strength and gentleness will always be appreciated and never forgotten.
Our long conversations, the parties we attended and the road trip we took to Canyon de Chelly in N/E Arizona brings a smile to my face, even though tears are in my eyes.
He lived a full and exciting life. He was fearless and dynamic. What a legacy he leaves for all of you.
