Dear Yniguez Family,

My wife Renee and I are so saddened by your loss. Renee and I are proud to have been in the first Marcos graduating class. Bob was always so proud to be a Padre and he made us proud to be Padres too. Having Bob as our teacher played a major role in inspiring Renee and I to become educators. Bob Yniguez exemplifies what being a Marcos de Niza Padre means and we are so very proud to call him our teacher and our friend! May God comfort the entire Yniquez family in this very difficult time!

Our prayers go out to Coach Yniguez and his entire family. Coach Bobby was always a great guy and was a great mentor to me as I entered the Coaching Profession. Coach was always supportive of me and helped me advance in my Coaching Profession. Coach was always a class act and never forgot who he was and more importantly where he came from. Coach encouraged me to get more involved in the Arizona Coaches Association and was one of the first Hispanic Basketball Coaches to really encourage and helped me in the profession. I am honored to have known Coach and to call him a True Friend! God bless you and I know you are Coaching a Team from above. Thanks Coach! The Good Lord only takes the Best!

To the Yniguez family,

Lucille and I were shocked and saddened to hear of Bob's passing. We always saw him as being a big, strong, confident man. In addition to being a very good man he was an outstanding teacher and coach. During his 40 plus years as an educator he had a positive influence on hundreds of young students. They are all better people for it. Bob's legacy will live on, and as much as we will all miss him, he will not be forgotten.

May God bless you all.

We are saddened to hear about Bob's passing. Bob and I taught history, coached football, and ate lunch every day together for 6 years at Marcos de Niza. He was a wonderful mentor, friend and family man. I'm thankful that Matt Marino and Frank Mirizo kept Bob and I connected through emails and happy hours over the past many years. I saw Bob last November and we laughed and told stories as if our time we worked and played together was yesterday. Mary Francis, Bobby, and Larisa your Husband and Father was a terrific person and left his mark on many young people. He will be missed.

Yniguez Family,

Your husband & father was a great teacher, coach and friend to many of us students who had the pleasure of being taught or coached by him. Soon after graduating from Marcos de Niza, I (Veronica) became of colleague of Bob at Tempe Union High School District, and saw the dedication and support he gave our students from the town of Guadalupe. I got to see firsthand his hard work as he mentored many who continued on to the field of education as well as many other professions.

Mr. Yniguez was truly an inspiration to me and our community I thank you and your children for sharing his time with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Yniguez Family,
Your dad/husband meant so very much to so many people. His students, his players, his teachers and families that he touched over the 40 + years will always remember the man who made them feel like a rock star at age 15, the man who made them laugh even while doing 1000 up downs for something stupid and the man who taught them how to deal with lifes difficult situations. We will all remember Coach Yniguez for always being positive and I will remember him for being one of the reasons I chose to become and teacher. Please accept my deepest sympathies during this difficult time.
God Bless you guys
